Privacy Policy.
Golden Consulting ("we," "I," honestly it's just Simon) respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: I collect the minimum needed to reply to you and understand whether the site works, I sell nothing to nobody, and I'm one email away if you have questions.
What gets collected
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, the budget range you pick if you pick one, and your message. Used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Basic analytics: this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site performs: pages visited, approximate location, device type. It sets cookies to do that. I have Google Signals turned off, so the data is not tied back to your Google account or used to build an advertising profile of you, and it is deleted after fourteen months.
- Spam protection: the contact form is processed by Formspree, which filters spam on its end. There is no captcha and no puzzle for you to solve. You just write and send.
What does not happen
- Your information is never sold, rented, or traded.
- You will not be added to a mailing list for filling in the contact form.
- No creepy cross-site tracking or advertising pixels.
Third-party services
Three companies, and that is the whole list. Porkbun hosts the site. Formspree processes the contact form. Google measures traffic through Analytics and carries the mail through Gmail. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy policy.
Data retention
Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting business relationship, then periodically cleaned out. Analytics data is deleted after fourteen months.
Your choices
You can request a copy of any personal information held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing hello@golden.consulting. I'll act on it promptly and without drama.
